Romeo and Juliet journal Entry 2

2. Suppose Romeo and Juliet had not acted so hastily getting married. What effect, if any,
would that have had on the play?
If Romeo and Juliet had not acted so hastily, Romeo would have been killed or Paris would have been Juliet's husband. Romeo's family would also probably try to fight the Capulets. The fact that Romeo and Juliet acted hastily made the play more interesting. It added suspense.
